I thought Camp Manitou was alright. I thought it was going to be way more fun but I did the same things. Our first activity was called alien invaders. We had to make these "spaceships" that had to keep a water balloon from exploding. We came in last. We had to drop them from the bleachers. We didn't even get passed the first part. Our second activity was in a field. We played lots of tag games and lots of parachute games. Our third activity was ziplining. I went only once even though we were aloud to go a second time. Our fourth activity was bannock. I do not like bannock, So I made a ball of dough and burnt it. It looked like a tim bit so I put butter and sugar on it. I went around to ask people if they wanted a tim bit.

Term 3 reflection
I thought this tm was fun. In math we learned algebra, formulas for finding the volume, surface area, area perimeter of multiple objects, and Pythagorean theorem. I thout it was pretty cool in Pythagorean Theorem because it was weird on how A squared plus b squared equals c squared. It was pretty cool. I thought in math I did good because I was focused and I enjoyed it. I n ELA we started a new book called the ask and the answer. It is book two out of three in the chaos walking series. We are making a final project. We are doing a skit. In science we built multiple structures like windmills, which had to 50 inches. my partners were Isaiah and Haden. We built earthquake proof buildings that had to be 30 centimetres. My partners were Joacquin and Justine. We then had to build another structure that could hold as many text books as it could. It had to be 30 centimetres also. We are going to start to build bridges. We also had a session on earthquakes, volcanos and mountains. I learned that there are three different types of volcanos. Shield ash/cone and a composite. In band we practice lots of rhythms and we play lots of music. We are playing three songs. The tempest, the water is wide, and mythos. I find the hardest song to play out of all of them is mythos. It is a very fast song. I think the band teacher did a good job this year. In social studies we made a mythical island. Our was called tacocraft it was located in the Hudson Bay. We had to make sure our island had 10 landforms and we had to have a PowerPoint about the island. Every Thursday we would have a group come in for 8 Thursdays and they would talk about religions and popularity and many other things.

knife of never letting go
I thought this book was the best book I have ever read. I liked how the author put so it's like the main character (Todd) was really doing it. I thought the book was really creative on having peoples thoughts escaping their mind. It's also a book that everything that happens to the person is good. Its like real life. Lots of people that the main character knows die, like his dog Manchee was killed by a man named Aaron who wanted Todd to be a man by letting Todd kill him. It is an insane, wicked book that everybody should read. I give this book a billion stars.

Term 2 refletion
Term two reflectio
In ELA we did a variety of things. We did a final test about a book we finished reading. It was called Touching Spirit Bear. The book was about delinquent who got put on an alaskan remote island. He then learns to control his behaviour and gains a friend after hurting him. We did a mini project on our Blogs. It was called a bucket list. We started it after the break when the world was suppose to end. It was about the top 100 activities we wanted to do before we die. We started a new book called The Knife of Never Letting Go. It is about a boy named Todd and his dog Manchee. They run away from the town they were at because they saw something they weren't suppose to. They go on lots of adventures with lots of tragedies. We started a book club called Lit circles. We started off picking a book from the ones selected. We then were split up with the people that chose the same book as us. I am the group leader and we are reading a book called Wave. Its about a family who goes to Phuket, Thailand for a Christmas vacation a get a surprize from a tsuanami. In math we did a big fraction unit. We added, subtracted, converted mixed to improper fractions. In french we made We made bingo cards. My card won three times. In Science we talked about the earths crust which led later on to minerals and rocks like igneous, metamorphic and Sedimentary. In band we got a new teacher who I think focuses more on us way more than tne other teacher. In gym we went through our basketball unit and we just started our batminton unit.

Idle no more
1. I have heard of what they were doing on the radio but I never knew what it was about. I did not know that lots dof cities and countries were involved in this.
2.The idle No more movement was to reassert treaty rights,( Which means to comfirm there treaty rights) for the first nation people. They said they do not want talk, it's time to take action.
3.I think they are protesting because the government aren't letting let them have and do certain things which means they can't do that much.
4. I think the idle no more movement is good because i am treaty
